I looked for a great salsa recipe for years before I found this one. I serve it all summer and winter long and it has never failed to satisfy guests. It even makes nice gifts.

Ingredients
28 ozcanpetite diced tomatoes2 each
2 ½cuponionchopped
1 ½cupgreen pepperchopped
½cupjalapeno pepperchopped
6clovegarlicminced
2tspcuminThis is what really makes this a great salsa
2tspblack pepper
⅛cupcanning salt
⅓cupsugar
⅓cupvinegar
15 ozcantomato sauce
15 ozcantomato paste
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together and bring to a slow boil for 10 minutes.
Seal in jars and cook in hot water bath for 10 minutes.
This is a medium to low heat salsa. It can be made more or less chunky based on the size you cut the veggies into.
