Japanese Fried Potato
We first had this dish for Christmas 2016.

- 4 medium potato
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 medium egg whisked
- ¼ cup flour
- ½ cup bread crumbs can also use Panko crumbs
- vegetable oil for frying
Wash, peel, and cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
Wrap the potato pieces in a plastic wrapper and heat in the microwave to soften them.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Spread flour over the potato chucks.
Dip the potato into whisked egg.
Spread breadcrumbs (or Panko) on the potato pieces.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to 400 degrees and fry the potatoes for one minute or until browned.
