These balls in this recipe are easy to make and very yummy. We first made them with our 2-year-old grandson. He loved “helping” and eating them even more.
Peanut Butter Oat Bites-No Bake
These balls are easy to make and very yummy. We first made them with our 2 year old grandson. He loved “helping” and eating them even more.
Servings 15
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup rolled oats ground in the food processor (or just use quick oats)
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 2 TBS raisins chopped coarsely
- 2 TBS walnut optional, finely chopped
Instructions
- Heat the peanut butter and honey for 15 seconds in the microwave in a glass bowl or measuring cup to soften. Mix with the oats, vanilla, and raisins in a large bowl until fully combined. (It will be dense and may seem sticky.)
- Drop by the teaspoon onto either a plate or a baking sheet and place into the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. After they are firm from the cold, store in a jar or other airtight container in the fridge—if they last that long! They can also be frozen.
