Jerky, Basic
Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef sliced for jerky
- 2 TBL canning salt
- 2 1/2 TBL soy sauce
- 2 1/2 TBL worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp liquid smoke
- 2 TBL molasses mild
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper optional
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 TBL honey
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients except the meat in a glass bowl. Marinate the meat in the mixture for at least 2 hours but preferably overnight. Pat the meat dry and put on dehydrator until completely dried.
