Japanese Fried Potato
We first had this dish for Christmas 2016.

Ingredients
- 4 medium potato
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 medium egg whisked
- ¼ cup flour
- ½ cup bread crumbs can also use Panko crumbs
- vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Wash, peel, and cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
- Wrap the potato pieces in a plastic wrapper and heat in the microwave to soften them.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Spread flour over the potato chucks.
- Dip the potato into whisked egg.
- Spread breadcrumbs (or Panko) on the potato pieces.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to 400 degrees and fry the potatoes for one minute or until browned.
