Cookies, Peanut Butter Kiss
Always a Christmas favorite
Servings: 36 cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter creamy
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar white, granulated
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 package Chocolate Kisses unwrapped, about 36
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, beat margarine and peanut butter with an electric miser on medium to high speed for 30 seconds or until mixed well. Add 1/2 cup of the flour, granulated sugar, honey, egg, baking soda, baking powder, and vanilla and continue to mix. Beat in the remaining flour. If necessary, cover and chill dough till easy to handle.
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls and, if desired, roll in additional granulated sugar. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges and bottoms are light golden brown. Remove to a flat service and immediately press 1 milk chocolate candy in center of each cookie. Allow to cool before moving.
