Swiss Corn Bake

We don't know the origin of this recipe but it has been around in our family for many, many years.  We have taken it to many different events and it always gets rave reviews.

2 can (16 oz) corn, drained
1 can (6 oz) evaporated milk
1 medium egg, beaten
2 TBL onion, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup Swiss cheese, chopped
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
1 TBL butter, melted

Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.  Combine corn, milk, egg, onion, salt, and 3/4 cup Swiss cheese.  Turn into 10 x 6 x 1 inch baking dish.  Toss bread crumbs, butter, and 1/4 cup Swiss cheese together.  Sprinkle over top.  Bake for 25 minutes.

Serves: 6-8
