BBQ Pulled Pork

This slow cooker recipe is easy and oh so goooood.

1 pork shoulder roast or butt (about 2.5 pounds)
14 oz commercial or homemade BBQ Sauce
1 TBL frsh lemon juice
1 tsp brown sugar
1 medium onion, chopped
8 hamburger buns or hard rolls

Place roast in slow cooker.  Cover and cook on LOW 10 to 12 hours or on HIGH 5 to 6 hours.

Remove roast from slow cooker and discard cooking liquid.  Shred port with 2 forks - throwing away the fat and yucky connecting tissue.  Return pork to slow cooker and add BBQ sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar and onion.  Cover and cook on HIGH 1 hour or on LOW 2 hours.  Serve shredded pork on hamburger buns or hard rolls.
