Meatballs

Easy to make and delightful to eat.  Don't forget to eat it with spaghetti.

3/4 pound ground beef or ground round
1/4 pound Italian sausage, mild or hot - your choice
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup soft bread crumbs (1 slice)
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1/4 tsp salt

Pre heat oven to 375 degrees.  Combine all six ingredients in a mixing bowl.  Mix until well blended.  Shape into meatballs 1 inch in diameter.  Place meatballs on a 15 x 10 x 1 wire rack sitting on a baking pan so the grease can drip off.  Bake for about 20 minutes or till no pink remains.  Cooked meatballs can be frozen.

Makes:  about 40 meatballs
