Chicken, Southern Cornbread Bake

Casserole
3 cups cubed (1 inch) cooked chicken breast
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1  1/2 cups sour cream
1 cup milk
Salt and Pepper to taste
8 oz shredded Cheddar cheese (2 cups)
3 medium green onions, chopped (3 TBL)

Cornbread Topping
6.5 oz Betty Crocker cornbread and muffin mix
14.75 oz can cream style sweet corn
1 egg
2 TBL butter, melted

1.  Heat oven to 400 degrees.  Spray 13x9 inch (3 quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.

2.  In large bowl, mix chicken, poultry seasoning, garlic powder, sour cream and milk.  Season well with salt and pepper.  Fold in cheese and onions.  Spoon mixture into baking dish.

3.  In medium bowl, stir together topping ingredients just until blended.  Spread batter evenly over chicken mixture.

4.  Bake about 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of topping comes out clean.  Sprinkle with additinal chopped green onions, if desired.
